There are 8 Royal Parks altogether: St James’s Park, the Green Park, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Bushy Park, Greenwich Park, Regent’s Park and Richmond Park.
They are called “Royal Parks” because they were originally lands owned by the monarchy of the United Kingdom for recreation purposes, such as hunting and they are still part of the hereditary possessions of The Crown.
Other parks in this gallery are: Holland Park together with the Kyoto Garden and Kew Gardens.
